Hello everyone, the blog is officially back up. I’m working on it right now, and am in the process of moving all the data to the Pellissippi servers.  I’ll keep everyone posted as we get things and events straightened out.

Chapter Meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of the month, with additional meetings as needed, on the 1st floor of the Bagwell Building in front of the Flat-Screen TV.  Meetings will start at 2:30pm and last for 30 mins.

Possible Events:

Pub-critique   – invite professionals to a pub/restaurant, we buy them a drink and they critique our work.

Student review at Pellissippi   – invite area college students and area design professionals to review and critique portfolios.

Interviews with local design professionals to post on our blog (not really an event but a great way to get people to visit our blog)…or even interviews with well known national designers courtesy of other sites

Tour of local design studios or printers. This could include Lamar, YeeHaw, or Robin Easter giving us the opportunity to see how they do things

Lecture/Day with the graphic design team at the News Sentinel

Guest lecturers

Including an insert with the Knoxville Chapter newsletter (either electronic or print) on what our group is doing and upcoming dates to be distributed to Pellissippi media arts majors

Weekly/Monthly happy hour with UT AIGA group

New Membership drive
